KidCart operates the KidCart mobile app and website at kidcart.app. Our mission is to make family shopping more fun and organized — without compromising your privacy.

What we collect
- Email address — if you join our waitlist or create an account
- App usage data — features used, swipe patterns (anonymized), crash reports
- Device info — OS, app version, for bug fixes
- Wishlist content — products kids swipe on, so parents can review them
What we never collect
- Payment information — we never see your card or billing data. All purchases go directly through your chosen store
- Children's personal data — kids use the app without accounts or personal info
- Location data — we don't track where you are
- Contacts or photos — we don't access your phone's contacts or camera roll
How we use your data
- To sync wishlists between kid and parent devices
- To send waitlist and account updates (opt out anytime)
- To fix bugs and improve the app
We do not use your data for ads, advertising profiles, or data brokers.
Affiliate links & how we make money
KidCart is free for families. We earn a small affiliate commission from retail partners when you complete a purchase through a KidCart link. The retailer pays us — not you — and it doesn't affect your price.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
KidCart is designed with children's privacy as a priority and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Children never create accounts, provide personal information, or interact with external services directly. Only a parent or guardian (18+) may create a KidCart account. Kids interact solely with the local swipe interface — no personal data about the child is collected, stored, or transmitted.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact hello@kidcart.app and we will delete it within 72 hours.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited data with retail partners (for affiliate referrals), service providers (hosting, analytics — contractually prohibited from using your data elsewhere), and when required by law.
Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. Request deletion anytime at hello@kidcart.app — we'll process within 30 days.
Security
We use HTTPS/TLS, secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls. Questions? Reach out.
